RATE STRUCTURE: Hourly boat rental is $290 per hour. Please note that all bookings will include the additional, applicable fuel surcharge and cleaning surcharge, detailed below.

SPECIAL WATER EVENT DAYS & HOLIDAYS: Memorial Day (MAY), Juneteenth (JUNE), July 4th Weekend (JULY), The Chicago Scene Party (Two "Scene" events) (JULY), Venetian Night (AUGUST), The Air & Water Show Weekend (AUGUST), Labor Day Weekend (SEPTEMBER). These are major show-stopping weekends with spectacular sites and lots of activity out on the water, thereby noting a 25% increased rental rate on these high demand, high activity dates.  Should you book on any of these dates, you will be contacted separately from your initial booking regarding the increase and balance due.

CAPTAIN STRUCTURE: Captain's Prices may vary from one Captain to another Captain. Ours is a BARE BOAT RENTAL COMPANY ONLY, where Captains are not included in our company's quoted prices listed herein. The Captains' fees are a separate transaction between renter and captain (this is a US Coast Guard Law), where you will hire the captain and pay them directly. For a boat of our size we recommend hiring one captain and one deck hand.  You are welcome to hire your own licensed captain (with our approval at least 1 (ONE) WEEK IN ADVANCE), or you may hire a captain from a list we shall provide you upon reservation completion who's familiar with our boats. Captains typically charge anywhere from $100-$125 per hour, with customary gratuity expected on top of that, so please budget for that cost separately from the boat rental fee.

 

FUEL/CLEANING SURCHARGE: There is a fuel and cleaning surcharge you will be expected to pay to us at the time of booking. Fuel reimbursement will be $100 for our most popular itinerary to the playpen anchorage and back. Cleaning fee is $50 flat rate for any of the chartered slots, for a combined total of $150. Or, if you choose a river cruise or North/South shoreline tour, please add $250 additional for the extra fuel usage, for a total of $300 including cleaning fees.

 

MARINA LOCATION/PARKING: We are docked at Belmont Harbor, right in Lakeview! Walk, Uber/Lyft, or use the paid parking available onsite and nearby. Dock codes and instructions will be provided one week prior to your booking. Please arrive on time and be respectful to our dock neighbors.

 

THINGS TO BRING: Food, Drinks, Alcohol (No red wine or glass bottles, please). Your own cooler (boat does have one cooler, and several under-seat coolers.) Sunglasses, Sun screen, Towels, A light jacket (for evening cruises), Light-color-bottomed footwear or sandals.

 

THINGS TO LEAVE HOME: Your pet (prior approval required for any pets on board.)  Any food items that need to be cooked or plugged in (i.e. uncooked hot dogs; a crock pot of chili dip). Illegal Drugs or Weapons. “Cheesy” or Flamin’ Hot snacks (they stain, unfortunately!) Any high heeled shoes or any sneakers or foot ware with DARK BOTTOMS will ask to be removed prior to boarding.

ALL GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO SIGN A WAIVER prior to boarding, and everyone is encouraged to have fun, but please be respectful of the boat and your neighbors. Improper, lude, or recklessly drunk behavior will result in early cancellation of your cruise, and your trip is non-refundable.
